The Commissioners agreed the following rate increases for the 2024/25 at their January 2024 Board meeting held last night. For the financial year commencing on 1 April 2024 the Commissioners’ rates will be as follows:

 

Town Rate                          3p increase rate from 267p to 270p

Refuse Rate                       £34.00 increase rate from £223 to £257 per household

 

For comparison purposes, overall this represents a 6.2% increase in the Commissioners’ rate income.
